Habitat:
Acrometopa servillea inhabits shrub rich, sunny habitats such as bushy slopes, meadows that are interspersed with shrubs and tall herbs and forest edges.
Life cycle:
The adults appear from June (rarely in September) until August. They sit on shrubs, thistles and similar substrates and are notable for their long legs.
Remarks:
Acrometopa servillea belongs to a group of difficult to distinguish taxa (A. macropoda, A. italica), which occur in Italy, Corsica and Sardinia and in the Balkan Peninsula.
