Habitat:
Mogoplistes brunneus is usually recorded in leaf litter of woodlands and their edges. Stony places within or near open woodlands are also settled.
Life cycle:
The adults are recorded between late July and November. Mogoplistes brunneus is quite abundant at appropriate sites and is easily found if you shake out leaf litter on an umbrella or examine carefully litter.
Remarks:
In Europe, Mogoplistes brunneus is only found in the Mediterranean.
