Habitat:
Dysauxes servula inhabits dry and warm, gappy, but partially a bit denser and higher-growing steppe grassland with single bushes, but also similar sites.

Life cycle:
The moths occur in two or three generations between May and October. They are active during daytime.

Remarks:
Dysauxes servula occurs locally in N-Africa, the Iberian Peninsula, S-France and Sicily.
Sometimes teh species is treated as a subspecies of D. punctata, but I agree on its species level.

Hints on determination:
Dysauxes servula is easily recognized by the strong reduction of the white spots on forewing upper side. Some of these in the related D. punctata well developed spots are often only visible in females.
