Remarks:
Carcharodus tripolinus occurs in N-Africa and is also found in the South of the Iberian Peninsula from S-Portugal to Cadiz and more rarely also further East to Malaga and Almeria.
Carcharodus tripolinus must be dissected to be distinguished from the sibling species C. alceae.
